Online workshops for workplace skills

N&D B.V. runs live virtual workshops for learners across Canada. Sessions are structured with a clear agenda, practical exercises, and reusable templates, so the time is spent practising—not only listening.

Education-only scope

Workshops provide educational content and learning support only. N&D B.V. does not provide consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, investment services, recruitment, employment placement, or any regulated professional services.

Workshop format

Live, structured, practical

Online

Duration

Typical sessions run 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on topic and depth.

What is included

  • Agenda with learning objectives and participation requirements
  • Exercises and examples that mirror workplace artifacts
  • Templates and checklists for later reuse
Workshops support skill practice. Participation does not guarantee employment, promotions, certifications, business success, or financial outcomes.

Workshop topics

Each workshop is built around a concrete set of learning objectives. Rather than “tips and tricks,” sessions focus on repeatable frameworks and the documents people actually use at work: meeting notes, decision logs, project plans, and communication drafts. If you are unsure which workshop is the best fit, register your interest and we will suggest a starting point based on your goals.

2–3 hours

Business Administration

Build core routines for operational clarity: basic process mapping, document control, and decision documentation. Exercises include drafting a simple SOP outline and converting informal notes into an actionable task list.

  • Process notes and handoff checklists
  • Practical admin templates
90–120 minutes

Communication

Practise clear written and spoken communication: concise email structure, meeting facilitation, and decision follow-ups. The workshop uses short scenarios to train clarity under time pressure without overexplaining.

  • Context → options → recommendation format
  • Feedback and action-item phrasing
2 hours

Leadership

Focus on practical leadership behaviours: delegation that includes acceptance criteria, simple coordination cadences, and decision notes that prevent rework. Activities include rewriting vague requests into measurable next steps.

  • Delegation checklists and follow-up routines
  • Decision documentation for teams
2–3 hours

Project Management

Learn the essentials of a readable project plan: scope boundaries, milestones, risk logs, and status updates. The session trains simple artifacts that can be maintained without a heavy toolchain.

  • Scope statement and milestone map
  • Risk log and weekly status template
90–120 minutes

Productivity

Build a practical workflow for prioritisation, planning, and follow-through. The workshop covers time-blocking, meeting hygiene, and maintaining an actionable task inventory without turning it into a second job.

  • Weekly planning routine and priority rules
  • Templates for review and follow-up
2 hours

Professional Development

Create a learning plan that is realistic and trackable: skill goals, weekly practice blocks, and evidence of learning (notes, drafts, and examples). This session is ideal when learners want structure without hype.

  • Skill map and practice schedule
  • Simple evidence log for progress

What a workshop includes

A workshop is most useful when the structure is explicit. N&D B.V. sessions follow a consistent pattern so learners can prepare, participate, and leave with assets they can reuse. The goal is to reduce ambiguity: what will be covered, what is expected, and what the outputs are at the end of the session.

Objectives and agenda

Each workshop lists learning objectives and an agenda with time blocks. Learners know what “covered” means and what will be left for optional follow-up resources.

Participation requirements

Requirements are practical: stable internet, ability to view shared materials, and readiness to complete short exercises. Prior experience is not required unless stated.

Exercises and artifacts

Exercises focus on workplace artifacts: writing drafts, meeting notes, project plans, and prioritisation rules. This keeps the learning grounded and testable.

Resources for later use

Learners receive templates and checklists used during the session. These materials are designed to be reused for future work and practice.
