Why we started

N&D B.V. was founded in 2020 to address a simple gap we kept seeing in workplace learning: plenty of theory, not enough usable artifacts. Many learners could describe a concept, but still lacked a repeatable method for writing a decision note, building a readable task inventory, or turning a meeting into clear next steps.

We built programmes that treat learning as a set of behaviours and documents. Lessons are short, but the exercises are deliberate. Each module is designed to end with something you can keep: a template, a checklist, a framework, or a drafted piece of communication you can adapt later.

Mission

To provide accessible, practical, and flexible online education that supports lifelong learning and professional development.

Vision

To be a trusted provider of online professional education helping learners throughout Canada strengthen workplace competencies through modern digital learning.

Core values

Practical learning

Education built around workplace application, not abstract definitions.

Lifelong learning

Short modules and reusable resources to support ongoing professional growth.

Accessibility

Online delivery across Canada so learning can fit different schedules and time zones.

Integrity

Clear scope and transparent educational positioning without outcome guarantees.

Innovation

Continuous iteration based on learner questions and friction points, improving clarity, pacing, and the usefulness of templates and exercises.

Education-only note: our contributors support curriculum development and learner support. We do not provide professional advice services.

Learning philosophy and quality standards

Each programme is structured around outputs rather than vague outcomes. That means learners spend time producing workplace artifacts: brief plans, meeting notes, status updates, drafts, and checklists. We treat these as learning deliverables because they are measurable and easy to reuse.

Clear module structure

Lessons use a consistent layout: learning objectives, short explanations, examples, and exercises. When a concept relies on jargon, we define it and show how it appears in everyday work (for example, scope boundaries or a basic risk log).

Practice with artifacts

Exercises are built around tangible deliverables: a stakeholder update, a meeting agenda, a project timeline outline, or a communication draft. This keeps learning grounded and avoids “memorise and forget” patterns.

Learner support boundaries

Support is focused on understanding course material, interpreting instructions, and improving an exercise. We do not provide advice tailored to business operations, legal matters, financial decisions, or any regulated field.

Canada-wide accessibility

All programmes and workshops are delivered online and are available throughout Canada. Materials are designed for clear self-paced progression, and workshop logistics are handled with predictable scheduling and participation requirements shared in advance.

Because learners join from different time zones and work schedules, we focus on clarity: what to do this week, what to hand in (if applicable), and which resources are yours to keep for later reference.

What we do not claim

Education supports skill development, but outcomes depend on independent application and external factors. For that reason, we do not claim or imply guaranteed employment, promotions, salary outcomes, business success, professional certification, or licensing.

Certificates of completion may be available for selected programmes. These confirm participation and completion of learning activities and are not a government-recognised certification or a professional licence.

Team and learning specialists

The team below contributes to curriculum design, exercise development, and learner support. Titles describe education roles only and should not be interpreted as consulting or advisory services.

EA

Elena A. — Business Administration Educator (Dip. Business Admin.)

Elena has spent 11 years building training materials for administrative workflows, documentation standards, and process handoffs. She specialises in turning messy real-world procedures into short, teachable routines: checklists, decision logs, and template packs that reduce ambiguity.

Learners know her for careful examples that show both a “good enough” draft and a polished version, explaining the difference without turning it into a writing class. Outside programme work, she maintains a personal library of meeting note formats collected from different industries.

CP

Chris P. — Communication Instructor (M.A. Communication)

Chris has 9 years of experience teaching practical workplace writing and presentation structure. His focus is clarity under constraints: short timelines, mixed audiences, and too many stakeholders.

He built the course exercises that use a “context → options → recommendation” pattern, plus feedback scripts that keep a conversation productive. He is known for ruthlessly simple editing rules that make messages shorter without losing meaning.

NT

Nadia T. — Leadership Development Specialist (PgCert Leadership)

Nadia has worked for 10 years on leadership skills programmes that emphasise execution: delegation, decision notes, and team operating rhythms. Her specialty is helping learners practise leadership behaviours in small steps rather than relying on motivation.

She designed the delegation and accountability exercises that connect tasks to an explicit “definition of done.” Learners often mention her practical scripts for one-to-ones and meeting facilitation.

SR

Sam R. — Professional Learning Advisor (Cert. Adult Learning)

Sam has 8 years of experience supporting adult learners with pacing, study plans, and practical follow-through. His role focuses on learning logistics: keeping modules manageable, clarifying instructions, and helping learners choose a programme that fits their schedule.

He is known for building simple weekly routines that reduce drop-off: a short planning block, one exercise session, and one review session. He also maintains the resource library structure so templates stay findable months later.
